Yeah, there's a reason he only came to this location rarely, shits out in the boonies.

Page 47

A desolate town with more mysterious overgrowth, how spooky!

Page 46

Forscher22 — Sat, 03 Oct 2026 00:00:00 GMT

It grew a whole lot actually!

Page 45

Forscher22 — Sat, 03 Oct 2026 00:00:00 GMT

Maybe choose a better time and location eh Javi?

Page 44

Forscher22 — Sat, 03 Oct 2026 00:00:00 GMT

Javi would've shown her how to use the internet herself, but that's a disaster waiting to happen.

Page 43

Never let creepy forests stop you from the wizard grind.

A gnosis is basically a signature spell and I plan on having a lot of fun with those >:3

Corpse retrieval is more common in arcane practices than you'd think.

The second-to-last thing many a desperate person sees in this world is Sigil's shit-eating grin.

Page 39

Faeries amirite?

Page 38

Forscher22 — Sat, 03 Oct 2026 00:00:00 GMT

Page 34

Forscher22 — Sat, 03 Oct 2026 00:00:00 GMT

Well now, what an interesting creature, have fun Javi!

We also posted part of an OST for this comic.

Page 33

Forscher22 — Sat, 03 Oct 2026 00:00:00 GMT

In Bedelia's (the elf) world, they call people like Javi portaliars. A rare talent to have, but not unheard of.

Being a weird spellcasting dragon human thing has its perks! City life is gonna be weird for a bit tho.

Page 29

She'll be back. When? Not even she knows. But this is the conclusion for Resplendent Return. Next story section is Grim Gardens! An elf interlude will be next, followed by the next section proper.

You ever get so distracted talking to your bro that you don't notice the creatures from another dimension sneaking into yours in the background?

Page 21

Forscher22 — Sat, 03 Oct 2026 00:00:00 GMT

Observer bias, thy name is the supernatural.

Sigil, for example, could be called several things depending on the culture she encountered (huli jing, kitsune, Tulikettu), but none of the titles really fit her. Javi is not exempt in this bias.

Elves are weirdly just straight up elves tho we got that pretty one-to-one.

There will be a break next week while I try to catch up on some backlog!

Nexuses are weird and alien, so alternate earths would be at best complicated to find. A worst, it's a pipedream.

Fun fact, faeries don't have blood, so bloodletting is something they tend to enjoy for offerings! Javi, however, only thought to do this due to an anime he watched once.

Forscher22 — Fri, 02 Oct 2026 00:00:00 GMT

Hello! Welcome to the urban fantasy comic that's been (lovingly, tenderly) infecting my brain for the last couple of years. I'll post these each Friday at around 6:00 pm CST

Thank you Cabrita Cuernitos and Mofin Tofin for your amazing artwork and assistance with this comic!

This will be a mature comic with quite a few dark themes and body horror along with some horrorific images so if that ain't for you that's ok (I'll only cry a little bit) so content warning.
